Claire's Recipes
About this project
Claire's Recipes is a recipe website built around the way home cooks actually cook. Instead of endless blog-scrolling, visitors get a clean, searchable library of tried-and-tested recipes — filter by course, cuisine, dietary need or cooking time and save favourites to a personal recipe box.
Beyond browsing, logged-in cooks can build weekly meal plans that generate a single shopping list, scale servings up or down and jot down their own tweaks on any recipe. I designed the whole experience — from the typography-led recipe pages to the print-friendly cards — and built it with Laravel and Livewire.
Key wins: 12,000+ monthly visitors and a recipe box that keeps people coming back week after week.
