About this project
OfferScout is a native iOS & Android app that puts local offers on the map. Coffee shops, restaurants and cafés post what's running right now — a mid-afternoon coffee deal, a lunch special, happy hour small plates — and customers open the app to see what's nearby and ready to walk into.
It's not just food and drink either. Independent retailers can list alongside the cafés and restaurants — a boutique clearing stock, a bookshop running a weekend promotion — giving them the same local visibility as the big chains without the big-chain marketing budget. Every business publishes offers from a simple dashboard where they set the days and times each offer runs and watch redemptions come in live.
I designed the entire experience — from the location-aware onboarding to the offer feed — and built the Laravel API that powers it all.
Key wins: 2,300+ registered users in the first six months and hundreds of offers redeemed every week.
